Tim Widing

Tim Widing is a 25-year-old Swedish professional golfer. As an amateur, Widing won two silver medals at the European Championships, along with one in the World Cup in Japan. He finished top-4 in the nation for juniors under 21 and won the Swedish School Championships in 2014.  

Tim attended the University of San Francisco, in which he posted an impressive stat line over his four-year career. Posting 19 top-10 finishes,  58 rounds under Par, winning two tournament championships, and being named University of San Francisco’s 2020 Male Athlete of the Year.

Widing began his professional career in 2021, where he was a 2022 Q-School Graduate. So far in Widing’s first year he has made nine of twelve cuts, with 1 top 10 and 5 top 25’s. His top two placings were T2 in the Q-School Qualifying tournament, and a T5 in the 90 Abierto del Centro memorial Eduardo Gato Romero ptdo por Telecom. 

Tim enjoys a wide range of hobbies including hockey, disc golf, roller skating, table tennis, and even some gaming. His earliest golf memory is when he hit his first hole in one at the age of 9.
