Gudmundur Kristjansson

Gudmundur has established himself as a name to know throughout his impressive rookie campaign on the Challenge Tour.

Despite the Challenge Tour being limited by the global pandemic, Gudmundur has still already notched a top five and two top ten finishes on the circuit. He then made the most of an opportunity to play on the European Tour when he recorded a top 20 result at the 2020 Open de Portugal.

His Challenge Tour status comes courtesy of the ‘three win promotion’ given to him following his third win on the Nordic Golf League in 2019.

A native of Iceland, he is his country’s top ranked golfer on the Official World Golf Ranking. He played his collegiate golf at Eastern Tennessee State University where he won multiple times and represented the school in the NCAA National Championship before graduating with a degree in Physics.
