Fredrik turned professional in 2019 following a standout amateur career where he was ranked inside the top ten of the World Amateur Golf Rankings and named an NCAA First-Team All-American alongside Collin Morikawa, Viktor Hovland and Matt Wolff.

Professional Wins

He immediately earned his first professional victory in style, winning by nine shots on the Nordic Golf League in just his fourth start. He finished the season eighth on the Order of Merit despite making only eight starts. Nilehn will compete on the Challenge Tour in 2021 and has also secured his place in European Tour Final Stage, following the cancellation of the 2020 Q-School due to the global pandemic.

A native of Sweden, Fredrik was one of NCAA golf’s best players during his time at Texas Tech University, where he won four times, was named First Team All-American and became the first player from Texas Tech to be named Big 12 Player of the Year.
